Matthew Friedman joined Northern Stamping, Inc. in 1996 after practicing as a corporate and litigation attorney for several years. In 1997, Matthew assumed the role of President and directed all aspects of the business, including operations, finance, and sales.

Under his steady leadership, NSI has experienced tremendous operational growth and financial success. Today, as the foundational piece of Bear Diversified Inc. NSI operates out of 4 manufacturing locations and is a recognized leader in the automotive industry. In addition to his role as President & CEO, Matthew also serves as General Counsel for the company.

Matthew obtained a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 1990. At Wharton, he specialized in organizational behavior, a background that serves him well as the leader of a diverse group of manufacturing entities. After graduating from Penn, Matthew studied at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where he obtained a J.D. in 1993.

An avid golfer, fly fisherman, and unwavering fan of the Cleveland Browns and Arsenal Football Club, Matthew never strays too far or too long from Cleveland, Ohio.
